TBzTD is a safe amine-based accelerator, no pollution, no discoloration, not carcinogenic, is a kind of environmental protection accelerator, mainly used to replace the Thiuram type promoter TMTD, because the presence of nitrosamines is harmful. N-nitroso dibenzylamine is not carcinogenic, according to published literature. In NR, SBR and NBR applications, TBzTD can be used as primary accelerator or co-accelerator for rapid vulcanization. It can be used as an inhibitor in modified CR when used with ETUs (ethylthiourea (2-mercaptan imidazoline)). TBzTD has longer coke time and better coke resistance than TMTD.
